I believe we are all spiritual beings on a human journey.
And that in the throes of everyday life, we are sometimes pushed to the very edge of our nerves and our civility but – every moment in life is important.
Life requires that we have courage to face each day.
And courage requires vulnerability which we are uncomfortable feeling because it forces us to face uncertainty, risk and emotional exposure. But, we have to show up and put ourselves out there.

We all must find our own way.
We also need to find the courage to stand alone, to say what we believe and do what we feel is right, despite the criticism and the fear of being judged.
We need to stop perfecting, pleasing, proving and pretending because we need to live by our values even when it’s hard and challenging, and choose to be courageous over feeling comfortable.

When we follow someone else’s steps, it is not OUR path. OUR path is the one we make with every step we take. Every step along the way has made us who we are.
If we wait until conditions or situations are perfect, we may never get on the path.
Start by taking one small step, in any direction. Push through your fears or trepidation.
And, when the path out to the unknown seems empty, fierce and unkind – if we have the courage to stay on course, we will discover something beautiful because the loneliest steps are the ones that will prove our authenticity and show us who we really are.

Our struggles are what give us character. Our struggles give us strength, hope and tenacity and our struggles help us grow as a person. Learn to see the roadblocks as an opportunity to conquer new territory because both failures and successes give our life flavour, complexity and even style.

There will be times when we have to walk on opposite sides of the same path: when we have to be tough but also yielding, excited but hesitant, brave but terrified – all in the same moment. Sometimes we have to be bold and take chances. We have to show up and it’s likely to be a tough, scary haul where we will doubt ourselves and our ability to make it.
And YES – we may not make it out unscathed, but – is it worth it?
Unquestionably YES!!!
So, find the love and joy in YOU.
Look within, not outward.
Make EVERY step along your path meaningful. Let each step stand for something that is uniquely you.
Blaze your own trail and leverage your strengths, then go out and do what others may deem impossible!!!
